Cargille Multi Temperature Calibration Liquid

Cargille's MTCL is very stable and non-toxic. It can be used in forensic identification of glass using a GRIM or similar system. The refractive index of this liquid has been determined for 589.3 nm light at the indicated temperatures.

Lot # 051582

Degrees Refractive Index
20 °C 1.5163 ±0.0001
30 °C 1.5124 ±0.0001
40 °C 1.5085 ±0.0001
50 °C 1.5045 ±0.0002
60 °C 1.5006 ±0.0002
